MICHELLE GRIFFITH

MARKETING DIRECTOR

EDUCATION

Michelle Griffith graduated from Texas A&M University, where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and a minor in New Media Art. While at Texas A&M, she was on the Executive Team of the Visual Arts Committee as the Marketing and Graphics Director. She coordinated and executed all marketing and graphic design efforts for the James R. Reynolds Art Gallery.

During Michelle’s time at Texas A&M, she was also the Marketing Intern for The Arts Council of Brazos County and for CSS International, Inc. While Michelle grew up always having a passion for the arts, it was during these internships that she discovered how to merge her love of both business strategy and the arts.

EXPERIENCE

Michelle then began her entrepreneurial journey with business Spoonie Sister Shop. Through her business she has helped empower, support, and advocate for 20,000+ chronic illness warriors. She fosters a special, welcoming chronic illness community through her shop’s social media accounts. Spoonie Sister Shop is a bestselling Etsy shop, ranking in the top 1% of all Etsy shops.

Michelle’s natural talent in communication through design, strategic business experience, and passion for the arts led her to Dallas Academy of Music and Performing Arts in 2020. She feels privileged to help grow DAMPA through strategic marketing, because she knows every effort leads to more students fulfilling their performing arts dreams!
