Coming January 2025 to Dallas Academy of Music and Performing Arts!
DAMPA is thrilled to soon offer four Early Childhood Music Education group classes: Music, Mommy, & Me for infants 0-9 months and 10-18 months, Tunes For Tots for toddlers 18 months – 3 years old, Little Harmonies for preschoolers 3-5 years old, and Music Explorers for children 5-6 years old. Private lessons are available for children ages 6 & up.

Music, Mommy, & Me
infants 0-9 months
and 10-18 months
An enriching class where soothing lullabies, sensory play with scarves and bubbles, and rhythmic bouncing create a joyful bonding experience for both you and your baby. This 30-minute class nurtures early music skills and strengthens the caregiver connection through fun, interactive activities!

Tunes for Tots
18 months – 3 years old
Get ready to groove with your toddler in our “Tunes for Tots” class, where rhythmic play, percussion instruments, and fun clapping games introduce your little one to the joys of music and movement. This 30-minute class fosters beat recognition, fine motor skills, and social confidence through interactive, guided dance and group activities!

Little Harmonies
3-5 years old
A playful group class where preschoolers will develop musical awareness through singing call-and-response songs, basic instrument exploration, and fun rhythmic games. Starting January 2025, this 45-minute class helps children build pitch recognition, counting skills, and an understanding of musical terms, all while fostering confidence and cooperative play in a creative, musical setting!

Music Explorers
5-6 years old
An engaging group class where early elementary students (5-6 years) dive into the world of musical theory and hands-on instrument exploration. This 30-minute class introduces keyboard practice, rhythm reading, and basic music notation, helping children develop note recognition, rhythmic skills, and teamwork through fun, enriching activities!
