Audition Masterclass

Dallas Academy of Music and Performing Arts is excited to present our first Audition Masterclass on Saturday, October 14th from 4:30-6:30 pm!
This course is designed to give students audition-style performance experiences and provide tools to help prepare for upcoming auditions. In this class, students will take turns performing their audition repertoire in a supportive, safe space for other peers as well as a rotating guest artist who will provide constructive feedback and helpful tips to aid preparation leading up to an audition.
For this upcoming masterclass, we are THRILLED to announce that we will be having the incredible Doug Miller as our first special guest. Doug is a superb musical theatre actor, director, choreographer, and educator located in the DFW area. He is currently the Musical Theater Conservatory Director at Dallas Children’s Theatre, where he will be directing “A Charlie Brown Christmas” this winter.
