Doak Rapp is an Actor, Improviser, and Educator. He is a born and raised Dallasite, and has over a decade of professional acting experience on both stage and screen. He started acting when he was 11 years old, and has stuck with it to this day. His experience growing up in the field has aided him in his educational endeavors, as he has taught theater, film, and improv to children across DFW. 

While not performing, Doak enjoys playing video games, making costumes, and all things fantasy. Although they drive him crazy sometimes, he loves his two cats as well. He has multiple improv troupes, with his Improv duo performing at various festivals across Texas. While his acting experience is varied, some of his favorite things to perform are Improv, Shakespeare, and Devised Theatre.

Doak’s favorite thing about educating is sharing the gift that the performing arts gave to him. As someone who believes that learning never ends, he is happy to grow along with his students and hopes the arts mean as much to them as they do to him.
