Audrey Reidling

VOICE, MUSICAL THEATRE

Audrey knew her love of performing since preschool age. Growing up in Plano, Texas, she was active in shows, choirs, show choirs, and chamber choruses (both inside and outside of school). She partook in dance classes, acting workshops, and anything that she could to be on stage. She is an active singer, dancer, and actress in the Dallas/Collin County area.

Some of her professional credits (including principal roles, choreography, co-music directing) include, Texas! the Outdoor Musical, Allen Contemporary Theater, Repertory Company Theater, Lakeside Community Theater, collegiate level Operas, and master classes.

Audrey has served as dance captain, choreographer, section leader, and Music Director for various ensembles and casts. This includes choirs that were invited to attend TMEA (Texas Music Educators Association) during her high school and college years, and shows that were nominated for DSM Awards and KCACTF’s. In addition to working at DAMPA, Audrey is also a voice teacher and choreographer in Plano ISD!

She graduated in May of 2018 from West Texas A&M University, with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance. She is classically trained in Opera and Musical Theatre. Her teaching passions include cross training her students so that they don’t feel boxed in to only one genre, and bringing an element of storytelling and characterization to music. Singers and musicians having stage presence is such a huge element of the performing arts. Audrey loves to sing pop, jazz, and country as well. She frequently finds ways to blend styles together for roles and auditions, for both her personal life and for her students.
