Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Music Education Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in teaching students ages 1-3 for a Mommy and Me class, ages 3-6 for an Early Childhood Music Education group class, and private lessons for students ages 5-7. As an EC Instructor, you will have the opportunity to inspire and start students on their musical journey in a supportive and creative atmosphere!

Responsibilities:

• Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans for Mommy and Me class, Early Childhood Music Education group class, and private lessons, ensuring activities are interactive and educational.
• Develop personalized lesson plans tailored to each student’s goals, abilities, and learning styles.
• Monitor and evaluate students’ progress, providing constructive feedback and adjusting teaching methods to meet individual needs and developmental stages.
• Foster a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages creativity, confidence, and musical expression.
• Prepare students for recitals, competitions, and other performance opportunities as appropriate.
• Collaborate with other faculty members and participate in school events & activities.
• Stay updated with current best practices in early childhood music education

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Music Education, Early Childhood Education, Performing Arts, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications or training in early childhood music education would be an asset.
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a group setting, with a proven track record of successfully teaching the specified age groups (1-7 years old) is highly desirable.
• Strong background in music, with proficiency in one or more instruments or vocal performance. Ability to play and teach age-appropriate musical activities and songs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a classroom effectively, including handling diverse learning styles and behavioral issues with patience and creativity.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students to excel in their musical pursuits.
• Agree to have a Federal background check done.

Schedule:
Teaching slots available:

• Monday through Thursday: 1pm – 8pm 
• Saturday: 11am – 4pm
