Alexandra (Lexie) Pritchard

Lexie Pritchard is the Director of the Musical Theatre Department at Dallas Academy of Music and Performing Arts! She’s been a DAMPA instructor since 2018, teaching private lessons in musical theatre, guitar, piano, voice, songwriting, and performance. Raised in St. Clairsville, Ohio, she received fifteen years of voice, piano, and musical theatre training and later earned a Music Production and Recording Industry degree from Ohio University in 2018. 

Her varied experience includes touring the United Kingdom as a vocal performer, opening for Pentatonix at A Cappella Academy, serving as music director for an Ohio University a cappella group, interning with Copeland Entertainment in Los Angeles, and working as a Music Curator for companies like Live Nation, VNYL and Fever. She continues to perform and release music as an independent singer/songwriter writer alongside teaching, volunteering, and curating community-driven spaces for the DFW music scene.
