Stephen Goodson is a Dallas-born multi-instrumentalist, producer, and educator who teaches guitar, bass, piano, drums, and ukulele. He completed the University of North Texas Jazz Studies Program in 2005 and went on to tour the country with the rock band Nelo, performing at Austin City Limits, SXSW, and CMJ. Since 2012 he has taught students ranging from age four to ninety-four, and he continues to write, produce, and play drums for his indie-rock band Ruff Wizard while composing commercial and catalogue music placed in film, TV, and radio in twenty countries. He is a voting member of the Recording Academy's Texas Grammy Chapter and advocates for musicians' rights in Washington, D.C.
