
David Do is the Assistant Director and a violin and viola instructor at Dallas Academy of Music and Performing Arts, and serves as second violinist of The Julius Quartet, which he co-founded in 2012. He has performed internationally as a soloist at the Chichibu International Music Festival in Japan and the quartet has won First Prize at the Chamber Music Yellow Springs Competition and the MA-ASTA String Quartet/Quintet Competition, performing in venues such as Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall and the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. In 2019 the quartet premiered a commissioned work with The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza commemorating the museum's anniversary. Do graduated from The Boston Conservatory, earned an Artist Diploma from Montclair State University's Cali School of Music, and has served as Assistant Chamber Music Coach at Southern Methodist University's Meadows School of the Arts.
