Lessons serve ages 12+ through adults. Younger students may be considered through a readiness assessment with the teaching team.
Build skills you can hear and feel
Develop posture, bow control, intonation, rhythm, music reading, and phrasing through exercises and repertoire suited to your level. Your teacher connects technical work to the musical expression you want to achieve.
Regular feedback and clear practice priorities help you carry the lesson into the rest of your week.
Support your orchestra or audition preparation
Bring school music, audition excerpts, or a piece you want to understand more deeply. Focused coaching can help you work through challenging passages, strengthen interpretation, and prepare with greater confidence.
Share current requirements and deadlines so the teacher can plan around the task. Preparation supports your development; placement and audition decisions belong to the school or organization.

David Do brings a background in conservatory violin study and professional performance to his work with violin and viola students. Lessons balance careful foundations with the student’s interests, experience, and next goals.
When you want to share your progress, DAMPA recitals offer an optional performance goal, with readiness guidance from your teacher and separate event registration.
