Music Explorers
Led by DAMPA's Early Childhood Director, Music Explorers is a flexible weekly program that blends purposeful play with expert music education to build the skills, confidence, and musical foundation that prepare children for a lifetime of making music.
❤️ Why Families Love Music Explorers
Life with a 3–5 year old is wonderfully unpredictable.
Some weeks naps run late. Preschool schedules change. Grandparents visit. And sometimes making the exact same class every Tuesday just isn't realistic.
That's why Music Explorers was designed differently.
Instead of locking families into one specific class day, we offer two identical classes every week—Tuesday and Thursday from 3:15–4:00 PM—giving you the flexibility to choose the day that works best for your family's schedule each week.
Your monthly tuition of $199 includes one 45-minute class each week, and you're free to attend either Tuesday or Thursday. Since both classes follow the same lesson plan and monthly theme, your child never falls behind by switching days.
Want even more music?
Students are always welcome to attend both weekly classes whenever space is available. Additional classes are just $25 per session, conveniently charged to your card on file after attendance.

With exciting monthly themes, hands-on activities, movement, instruments, and imaginative games, every class is filled with opportunities to explore, create, and grow.
🎤 Perform on a Real Stage
Every Music Explorers student has the opportunity to perform in DAMPA's professionally produced student recitals.
Working together with their classmates and Mrs. Ody, students prepare a fun group performance before proudly taking the stage in front of family and friends.
For many children, it's their very first performance—a memorable milestone that builds confidence, celebrates their growth, and often becomes one of their favorite experiences of the year.

Music Explorers is led by Mrs. Ody, DAMPA's Early Childhood Director.
With more than a decade of experience teaching young children and specialized Kindermusik® training, she creates a classroom where children feel safe to explore, encouraged to participate, and excited to learn. Her engaging lessons blend proven early childhood music education with plenty of fun, helping every child develop confidence while building a lifelong love of music.
Parents are encouraged to allow children to attend class independently whenever possible to help foster confidence and classroom independence. Of course, parents are always welcome to join if needed.
