Make music with other singers in a small pop vocal ensemble. Build harmonies, prepare songs, record, and develop the confidence to perform together—with Paul Davis guiding the group’s musical work.
This is a place to apply and develop existing singing skills through collaboration. Personalized private lessons can support individual technique alongside the group when that is the right fit.

From rehearsal to recording and performance
Paul Davis, DAMPA’s Recording Studio Director, helps students shape group harmonies and prepare material for studio and live settings. His piano accompaniment connects the voices to the music as they rehearse.
Recordings and performances grow from the group’s preparation and projects. The photos and videos here show our current group, The Spectacular 7, putting those skills into practice.
Create a sound and identity together
Alongside the music, Todd Griffith helps students explore how a group presents itself: its name, visual identity, artist profiles, show materials, and online presence.
Students get a practical introduction to the creative decisions behind an artist project, with room for their own ideas and personalities.
Find the right fit for 2027
New groups are planned for singers ages 9–13 at an early-intermediate level or above, with previous voice study or existing singing ability. Groups have a maximum of seven students. No audition is required; readiness matters.
If you’re unsure about fit, a free assessment with Paul can help identify whether private preparation, a group with concurrent lessons, or direct group participation makes sense. Private lessons are not required for everyone.
