Your next audition starts here.

A great audition begins before the camera rolls. DAMPA brings private vocal coaching and recording support together so students can prepare thoughtfully, perform with confidence, and keep their audition materials organized.

For youth theatre, high school, and college auditions, we match the plan to each student’s readiness, goals, and deadline.

01 Prepare your performance

Work one-on-one with Lexie Pritchard, Lynn Ambrose, or Caleb Dean. Your coach can help you choose age-appropriate material, shape an effective song cut, strengthen healthy vocal technique, and bring the character and story into your performance.

Practice entrances, slates, musicality, and performing with accompaniment. If the audition supplies a song or script excerpt, bring it with you so preparation follows that brief. Coach matching and lesson scheduling depend on fit and availability.

02 Record when you’re ready

Once the material is prepared, schedule your recording session with Paul Davis and/or Todd Griffith. DAMPA’s professional in-house studio gives students a supportive space to capture their audition material with clear sound and focused guidance.

Audio recordings, audition videos, self-tapes, slates, and headshots can be included in your custom scope. We plan framing, accompaniment, file formats, and any editing around the audition’s rules—including a continuous, unaltered performance when required.

03 Your audition assets, together

DAMPA delivers an organized Google Drive folder with the final assets agreed in your package. Depending on your audition, that may include clearly named song recordings, separate performance videos, a slate, and selected headshots.

We agree on the required files, formats, and delivery date before booking. You’ll have your materials together to review, download, and submit through the school or production’s own application system.

Built around your audition

From a school musical to a college prescreen, your preparation should fit your voice, experience, and goals. We shape your vocal coaching and recording plan around the material you need to prepare and the deadline you’re working toward.

Your next step might be…

  • School shows and musicals, including HPISD school productions and HP Theatre at Highland Park High School.
  • Local stage auditions—for example, North Texas Performing Arts (NTPA), Dallas Children’s Theater, Outcry Youth Theatre, or CYT Dallas.
  • Performing arts school applications, such as Booker T. Washington HSPVA or Richardson High School’s Theatre Performance Magnet.
  • College theatre and musical theatre auditions or prescreens.
These are examples of audition opportunities. Bring your current audition notice and submission instructions so we can plan the coaching, recordings, and optional photo or video services that fit your needs.

A custom package. A clear plan.

Every quote reflects your student’s preparation needs, coaching sessions, recording time, optional headshots or video, and deadline. Together, we’ll agree on the services and final deliverables before you book.

Start by telling us what you’re auditioning for, when materials are due, and where you’d like help. We’ll review the details and recommend the next step.
