CREATIVE LEADERSHIP

LEXIE PRITCHARD • Director
Lexie is a singer/songwriter, performer, music curator, and vocal coach originally from St. Clairsville, Ohio. An early love of music landed her in voice, piano, and performance training for a total of 14 years. This training led to her being highly involved in both her high school and college musical theater program, ranging from assistant directing, stage managing, choreographing, and performing! Lexie’s experiences have led her across the world, from a two-week vocal performance tour of the United Kingdom, to Los Angeles to open for Grammy Award-winning Pentatonix at the inaugural summer of A Cappella Academy, and then to living in LA performing and interning at Copeland Entertainment. After completing her degree in May of 2018 at Ohio University as a Music Production & Recording Industry major, she relocated to Dallas where she continues to dip her toes into all facets of the music industry.

LYNN AMBROSE • Musical Director
Lynn is a casting director, a musical director, and a vocal and acting coach. Lynn has been casting in the Dallas area for 25 years, involved with projects that include hundreds of commercials for clients such as TXU, AT&T, Denney’s, Texas Lottery, TGI Fridays, film projects, as well as PBS series “Barney & Friends”. Prior to casting in Dallas, Lynn was on staff casting director in New York for Crossroads Films, an agent at the William Morris Agency, and casting assistant at z New York. Lynn has served as musical director for Dallas Academy of Music and Performing Arts, Musical Theatre Academy of Theatre3, Imagination Players, Highland Park Middle School, KD Actors Conservatory Black Box, Forney High School, Lutheran High School, the JCC, and Rover Dramawerks. Lynn is also a stage actress with roles including Mrs. Grace in “A Man of No Importance”, and Jeannette in “The Full Monty”. She also appeared in the art house film, “Mangus”, directed by Ash Christian.

DAVID DO • Stage Manager & Producer
David is a violinist & music entrepreneur based in Dallas. David is a founding member of The Julius Quartet, an award-winning chamber music ensemble of 10 years priding itself on spreading the values of chamber music to diverse communities and showcasing relevant modern programming combined with timeless classics. Additionally, the quartet serves as Artist-in-Residence of Emerge Coalition, a non-profit organization dedicated to cultivating contemporary classical music in Dallas. As a soloist, he has appeared at the Chichibu International Music Festival in Japan, performing with the Chichibu Festival Orchestra and with the San Jose Chamber Orchestra, performing a specially commissioned work by Kerry Lewis. David served as an Assistant Chamber Music Coach Fellow at Southern Methodist University and has received a BM from The Boston Conservatory and an Artist’s Diploma from Montclair State University.

KEI NUTT • Stage Manager & Producer
This is Kei's first out-of-school Production as a part of Tech. He's been in Theater since junior high and has been in a Tech in every one of his high school productions. But he is glad to have the opportunity to be here and help bring the show to life from behind the scenes

OWEN ASSI • Leaf Coneybear
Owen is a rising fifth grader at Travis TAG in Dallas. Previous roles include the Mad Hatter in Alice in Wonderland Jr. (Rowlett Summer Musicals), Scar in The Lion King Jr. (Hexter Elementary School), and Maxie Dean in Beetlejuice Jr. (DAMPA). He is excited to join the cast of Spelling Bee for this production!

BENJAMIN GARCIA • Chip Tolentino
Benjamin Garcia (Chip Tolentino, Jesus), 15 years old, is a rising 10th grade student at the NTPA Academy. He is thrilled to be performing again with DAMPA where his love for theatre began when he performed in his first show with DAMPA at just 7 years old. He has been taking voice lessons year-round with DAMPA since he was 8 years old! Some favorite past performances include Shrek Jr. (Pinocchio), Freaky Friday, James and the Giant Peach (Earthworm), School of Rock (Billy), Seussical Jr (Wickersham Monkey), Elf Jr., The Christmas Line (Robin), and The Wizard of Oz (Mayor) Thank you to Ms. Lexie, Ms. Lynn, Mr. David, Mr. Todd, and the cast for a wonderful experience and to friends and family for all their love and support!

GRACIE GARCIA • Marcy Park
Gracie Garcia (Marcy Park), 11 years old, is a rising 6th grade student at the NTPA Academy. Gracie has been taking voice lessons year-round at DAMPA since she was 7 years old and is thrilled to be performing in her first show with DAMPA. She has also performed in Shrek Jr. (Fairy Godmother), Curious George and the Golden Meatball, The Wizard of Oz (munchkin), the Nutcracker (baby mouse, angel) and numerous dance showcase productions. Thank you to Ms. Lexie, Ms. Lynn, Mr. David, Mr. Todd, and the cast for a wonderful experience and to friends and family for all their love and support!

NOAH HENRY • William Barfee
Noah is 15 years old, and he is a rising junior at HPHS. DAMPA's Beetlejuice Jr. was the first show he acted in, and it was an absolutely amazing experience. Noah is so grateful for everyone involved in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee!

GRACE JOHNSON • Olive Ostrovsky
Grace is 16 years old and a rising junior at HPHS. She recently performed in DAMPA's Beetlejuice, Jr. as Lydia – which had been her dream role since she discovered theater. She is so thrilled to be involved in this awesome show with such an amazing cast!

ISABELLA JOSEPH • Logainne Schwartzandgrubenniere
Isabella is thrilled to be portraying the character of Schwartzy! She is a rising sophomore at Ursuline Academy and some of her favorite roles have been Willy Wonka in Willy Wonka Jr., Amanda Thrippe in Matilda, the bodyguard in the School of Rock, and Macduff Son in Macbeth. Isabella would like to thank the D.A.M.P.A faculty, the cast, the opera ghost, and her family for supporting and helping her in this production. She hopes you enjoy the show!

FIONA LIBBY • Rona Peretti
Fiona is a rising 9th grader at the North Texas Performing Arts Academy in Plano, TX. This is her 30th production and second show with DAMPA! Favorite recent roles include Bruce (Matilda), Ariel (Little Mermaid Jr.), Grace Farrell (Annie), and Delia (Beetlejuice Jr.). Fiona has enjoyed making new friends and working with this fabulous cast! Special thanks to Lexie and David for all of the time and passion poured into Spelling Bee, helping these amazing actors shine!

RYLEE KLEIN • Midge Mahoney
Rylee is a rising 8th grade student at St. Monica Catholic school. She has been on stage most recently playing Sharpay in High School Musical, in a production of Annie as Grace Farrell, and Otho in Beetlejuice Jr. She has also enjoyed her singing appearances at Opening Bell Coffee Shop, especially performing the song “Send You My Love” which she recorded with Liz Longley in Nashville. She is very enthusiastic about this production of Spelling Bee.

DIEGO VALLE • Douglas Panch
Diego Valle is a 22 year old attending the University of Texas at Dallas. His favorite past roles include Amos Hart in Chicago, Pippin in Pippin, and Captain Hook in Peter Pan. He is excited to join his cast mates in his return to the stage!
