At the Dallas Academy of Music & Performing Arts, we help students of every age discover the joy of making music — in a warm, creative, genuinely supportive studio in the heart of Snider Plaza. We're looking for a passionate piano instructor to inspire and guide our students, from first-timers to advanced players, on their musical journey.
What you'll do
- Design personalized lessons around each student's goals, abilities, and learning style
- Offer warm, constructive feedback that builds confidence and skill
- Create an encouraging space where creativity and self-expression thrive
- Prepare students for recitals, competitions, and performance opportunities
- Collaborate with our faculty and take part in school events
What we're looking for
- A bachelor's or master's in Music Education, Piano Performance, or a related field (preferred)
- 2+ years teaching experience across a range of ages and levels
- Fluency in classical and contemporary piano repertoire
- Warm, clear communication and a real gift for motivating students
- Willingness to complete a federal background check
