We’re Always Looking for Great People
Your talent could shape what comes next.
Don’t see your specialty in our current openings? We’d love to meet educators, musicians, performing artists, and operations professionals with something meaningful to bring to DAMPA.

There may be a place for you here

Great people don’t always fit an existing job title. At Dallas Academy of Music & Performing Arts, we’re open to talent that strengthens our team—and ideas that could become a new class, program, department, or role.

Bring your specialty

Perhaps you teach an instrument or art form we don’t currently offer, work in a distinctive genre, or bring expertise in recording, production, music technology, movement, or another creative field. Tell us what you do best, who you could serve, and how you would share your skills through private lessons, group classes, masterclasses, or camps.

We also welcome people whose strengths are in school operations, family support, arts administration, events, or program development. You don’t have to be a teacher to make a meaningful contribution here.

Build with a creative team

DAMPA brings together music, musical theatre, songwriting, recording, acting, and early childhood education in Snider Plaza. We value strong professional skills, clear communication, dependability, and a collaborative approach. Relevant experience matters; a specific degree is not required for this general application.

For teaching roles, our team handles scheduling, billing, enrollment, and client communications. Faculty resources include complimentary lessons with fellow teachers, studio access, and support for developing new classes. The support, responsibilities, compensation, and schedule for any opportunity will be discussed according to the role.

Start a conversation

Send your resume and a short introduction about your strengths, experience, availability, and what you’d like to build or contribute at DAMPA. If you have a new offering in mind, share the students it would serve and a simple idea for how it could work. Portfolio, performance, teaching, or project links are welcome when relevant.

This is an ongoing general application rather than a single guaranteed vacancy. We’ll consider your background for current needs and potential future opportunities, and reach out when there is a fit. If a listed opening matches your interests, please apply directly to that role. Current teaching priorities include Saturday 11 a.m.-4 p.m.; a voice-led piano/voice transition Monday 3-8 p.m. and Tuesday 4-8 p.m. by December 2026; and beginner piano + voice Monday-Thursday 4-8 p.m. Additional growth windows include Tuesday/Thursday 3-8 p.m. and Wednesday 4:30-8 p.m., depending on specialty and room fit. Sunday teaching is coming soon, with launch date and hours to be confirmed. Please share your exact weekly availability; other creative and operations opportunities have schedules discussed individually.
