Sing the National Anthem at Highland Park

Apply to sing the National Anthem

We’re selecting two DAMPA students—one for each of Highland Park High School’s opening two girls’ varsity basketball home games. Apply online; no in-person audition is required. December 11 is the home opener vs. Grapevine, and December 22 is the second home game vs. Colleyville Heritage.
Applications close November 8, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Central. Complete the student and parent/guardian information below.
Confirm availability: in the Preferred role field, select the option matching the date(s) you can attend. December 11: arrive 6:15 p.m., game 6:30 p.m. December 22: arrive 11:15 a.m., game 11:30 a.m. All times Central. By selecting a date, you confirm that the student and an accompanying parent/guardian can attend.
Video is optional for every applicant. If our team already knows your student and their singing well, there’s no need to submit a singing sample—just complete the application and confirm availability. You may upload a video or share a link of the student singing the National Anthem. Leave both blank if you prefer; a video is not needed to submit.
DAMPA will review your application and reach out with more details and next steps. Applying does not guarantee selection. Selected students will perform at Highland Park High School’s main gym, with entry off Westchester.
