Jeemini LeeFlute Teacher

    Jeemini Lee is originally from Plano, Texas and received her Bachelor’s degree in flute performance from the University of Cincinnati- College Conservatory of Music. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in flute performance, studying under Kara Kirkendoll Welch, at SMU. She has four years of experience in private lesson teaching and group coaching with students from ages 11 to 18 and has to ability to work with students of
    different levels and ages in a variety of teaching settings. She has performed as a soloist as well as in orchestral and wind ensemble performances. During her four years of undergrad, she consistently performed with a woodwind quintet, gaining knowledge and experience in chamber music; she actively performs in chamber groups at SMU as well. Aside from being classically trained since the age of 10, she is familiar with extended flute techniques, especially beatbox flute, which has gained popularity over the recent years
