Social Music

For teens and young adults with special needs.

This is a group for teens and young adults with special needs to participate in a blended music therapy and music education class with their peers in which they will focus on social skills, academic skills, and musical skills taught by a Board Certified Music Therapist who is also a certified music teacher.

This Social Music Class will allow teens and young adults with special needs to interact with their peers in a natural community setting – the music studio. They will have a chance to learn musical skills on drums, xylophones, ukulele, and guitar depending on their strengths and needs.

Dates
Teen Class (12 – 17 years) – January 13th – May 12th from 10:15am – 10:45am (Saturdays)

Dates
Young Adult Class (18 – 25 years) – January 10th – May 9th from 2pm – 2:30pm (Wednesdays)

Note: This is an annual class with expected participation in both the Fall and Spring Semesters. Payment is required at time of registration for the current semester. Spring Semester billing will be automatically processed on or before the first day of class. By registering for this class, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
