Start developing the basics of acting with our Intro to Acting Course with Jeff Swearingen. Jeff will work with students on perfecting scenes by incorporating an array of techniques and approaches. Students will learn various skills and acting fundamentals such as character development, partner work, script analysis, improvisation and reacting/listening skills.

Advanced Acting

Not an acting newbie? Our Advanced Acting course with Jeff Swearingen is just what you need. In this course, students will be exercising their already learned acting skills while digging more into the heart of acting. Students will learn to get out of their head, moment to moment, though script analysis, transitions, motivation and character development. Students will be breaking down material for comprehensive understanding all while practicing truthful acting under imaginary circumstances, improv techniques, and emotional preparedness.

Students learn the basics of acting through improvisation, theatre games and exercises, creating characters and simple monologues and scene study.

Improv Through Play

Little actors will be guided by the amazing Lindsay Goldapp, who has been performing and teaching improvisational comedy for more than 20 years, through exercises and activities that encourage imagination and story making based on their own experiences. Children will learn to take a situation and make it real without a script.

Excellent introduction to the field of voice acting for teens! The class focus will be on reading real world commercials, books, games and animation scripts, taking direction, creating unique voice characters and having fun!

Adult Acting

This class aims to immerse students in specific skills for choosing actions, creating characters, and crafting realistic behavior on stage. We will study practical exercises . Each day will have a different focus: memorization techniques, character biographies, text analysis, playable actions, vocal and physical characterization, emotional association techniques, and everything you need to bring life and “reality” to whatever you perform. Become the kind of actor that is known for having craft and be on your way to working with the technical specificity and mindset of a craftsman.
