Treble Makers

In this class, students will work on performance and ensemble pieces. The kids all get to sing solos and Sarah helps them with movements, pitch, and tone. The class will have multiple performing opportunities and will culminate with a performance at the year-end recital in May.

Music Writing Lab

Do you like to play instruments? Have you ever wondered how artists like Ed Sheeran or Lin-Manuel Miranda write the music to their hit songs? Would you like to arrange a cover of your favorite song on your own instrument? In the Music Writing Lab, we will dive into the world of music theory and learn patterns used by artists to create music. This course will provide you with the tools and guidance to write and arrange your own music!

Sight Singing Piano Lab

Directors won’t wait around for you to rote learn a piece by listening to it repeatedly. They’ll require you to look at a piece, and have an immediate general understanding of its melodic and rhythmical movement.
